How can I buy a long-term permit?

Good to know about long-term permits

You can buy a long-term permit with the mobile application or with a web browser on the website. When you have bought the permit, you will receive general permit instructions by email – read them carefully. If the permit is a corporate parking permit, note that you have registered in the Taskuparkki application with your work email address. The Camera recognition function should not be enabled for long-term permits.

Buying with the mobile application

After signing in, open the Menu by tapping the icon. You can find available long-term permits by selecting Parking Permits and by scrolling up and down the view that opens. When you find the permit you want, press the Buy button next to it. Select or add the license plate and the payment card and then press Buy permit. 

Buying on the website

Sign in at www.taskuparkki.fi. After signing in, click the Buy permits heading. Here you can find the parking permits that you can buy. By clicking the blue Buy button next to the permit you want, you can select or add a license plate and a payment card. After entering a new license plate, remember to click the New license plate text under the entry field. This saves the license plate. By clicking OK you confirm your purchase.

You can edit parking permit details and settings under Parking permits in the mobile application and under My permits on the website.

Changing the license plate

A parking permit can have only one active license plate at a time and the license plate should be written with a hyphen (ABC-123) or without a hyphen (ABC123). Note that the parking permit should always include the license plate of the parked vehicle. If you are using a replacement car or change the car, update the license plate on the parking permit. 

Termination of validity

Taskuparkki’s long-term permit is valid for 30 days at a time and is automatically renewed at the end of this period. If you do not wish the permit to be renewed, you can disable the automatic renewal by editing the parking permit details. A parking permit cannot be cancelled in the middle of the validity period.
